The course aims to provide students with the knowledge required to understand the modern production process of good quality propagating material necessary to meet the high demands of commercial crops of large-scale crops and vegetables in Greek agriculture. The syllabus of the course aims to study the factors that influence the germination of seeds and wild reproductive organs of large-scale crops and vegetables, as well as to understand the factors that influence the production and storage of propagating material of large-scale crops and vegetables. Also, to understand the techniques-methods applied for the assessment of quality characteristics of propagating material.
